Thinking spring. so spring forward

Hello everyone,

Again you haven't heard from me in awhile. I started a new job and just haven't been able to get To WA except to read all of the messages from all of you.

Anyway it's finally spring here in New Bedford, MA. My daffodils are in bloom and my tulips and other flowers are getting ready to bloom.

Yay!!! Snow is finally gone. We had a brutal winter this year. Over 6 ft. of snow.

Now is the time to get moving. I've been doing some cleaning and purging my files to make room for more "stuff". While doing this I found a file marked "my poetry". I had completely forgotten them.

I'm going to start posting them in my blogs. Maybe some of you will read them. Maybe some of you will find them boring. But like my artwork they will tell you who I am. Maybe I'll also post pictures of my artwork as well. What do you think?

Since it's spring I find this one appropriate:

THE CARDINALS

As I entered my garden I saw them she was feeding he was watching

They come to my feeders each evening always the same He is her protector

She is plainly beautiful He is glorious with his feathers of red

Let no predator approach He will warn her to fly away

God gas provided this beautiful pair for all to admire

The cardinals the prince and the princess of all birds

Like true lovers they are always together and caring for each other

This is an acrylic painting on slate. It kind of goes along with the poem. I hope you all enjoy them.

I will be making more of an effort to spend time on WA and get my blog site up and running.
