Our scars together tell a beautiful story. They may not appear very pretty on flesh, but there is beauty within each of them! My inner person is stronger from my battles and now I can pull from her and God when I need strength. Think about a time when you felt you didn't handle something well or feel strong. No matter what that something was, or is, you are still here which means YOU WERE AND ARE STRONG! Tell people about your scars, because it can help them see the beauty in theirs too:)

I have found that I'm much more open about myself and my journey, in recent years.
I can see how keeping our scars (as you say) and our skeletons hidden away has let to the world as we know it today...so constricted and fearful!
We are all human right! We all have the same troubles and struggles, so why do we insist on pretending otherwise?!
