Why We Joined Wealthy Affiliate
Last Update: May 3, 2017
The reason I joined, and probably yours as well, was precisely to become a wealthy affiliate; to create a significant stream of income. It turned out that I was spending a lot of time, not on honing my skills, but on reading and responding to posts from other members. I realized that doing that has become an obstacle to reaching my goal, so I decided to start skimming the posts. Unless a post is brief, or particularly relevant, I skip it. If it is about something I want to know more about, but not immediately, I save the URL for later reading. This change in operating basis is working and has sped up my progress.
I recommend you do the same. We are not here to get great rankings with WA, or to become Ambassadors, or to have another Facebook to hang out on, but to become competent affiliates who get results. Once we do get those results we want, then is a good time to share our knowledge and insights to become ambassadors. What's your take on this?

Great Post, I came to the same realization this morning. Nice to know there are like-minded people here.
I wish you much success Peter!

Two comments - I have picked up some useful info to improve my progress. I have acquired people to work with me to create an income. But I agree ti takes time to respond.
What is your plan to make money? and how is tit going so far? I have changed my direction in the last 48 hours and ill find out if I did the right thing soon.
Great if you have some people to help you.
My plan to make money is a helpful book review site and to create a Wealthy Affiliate referral site, which will likely bring in more income than the book site. I do not have an income stream yet.
I don't either but now have several people through here working to create one - a major one.
