Writing Articles

Hey guys,

So I am a bit slow off the mark when it comes to writing articles. I get the tech side of the business but when it comes to creating content, it's taken a little while to get the ball rolling. Must be something to do with being a total slacker in school...

I've checked out quite a few of the training articles and videos and most people say that when you write an article, make a note of the key points with an intro and conclusion and this seems to be working well for me so far. Jay suggested that you keep a note book with you at all times.

The other thing I was thinking is that I have ideas come to me when I'm nowhere near paper, so I thought that if I used my phone to record some article ideas that might work as well.

Does anyone have any other tips that might be helpful? Much appreciated.

Peter, my purse is full of notepads and strange garbled ideas, which eventually get turned into stories or poems. You are not a slacker if you are working on this! It is just a matter of sitting down and doing! Anne

Hey, Peter! Consider using google keep :)
I use it and store all my ideas. If you have internet connection all the time, it;s easy to use and manage. You have everything in one place, all the time. I use 1 gmail account and have downloaded the app on my tablet phone & laptop. In this way I have all my work at my disposal all the time.

I'm in the middle of moving house so sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I will check this out when I get a chance. I love the idea of having everything available across all devices (I have far too many!!).;)

Me too was taking notes in iPhone but quite small to read then needed to copy. So started to send myself mail in gmail. Every time i have new ideas to add i answer my mail. So easy and quick to open both from iPhone and pc.
Then doing the same in messenger

Great post Peter .. I think of things all the time then there are gone. I now use iPhone Notes, as soon as I think of sometime I make a new note. In the past I tried to put all ideas on one list but it did not really work. I find a separate note allows me to add to it and expand if need be. If I am in a coffee shop waiting for someone I can just add things to each of the notes and they start developing. Hope that made sense.
