Hi, this blog is about making money as fast as possible. In today's cut throat market you have to take action and be aggressive about your approach to marketing.



That doesn't mean that you should sell, sell, sell. But it does mean that there is no longer any room for the Lazy Affiliate! If you want to be a Wealthy Affiliate and, let's face it, that's why you're here, you need to go after online success.



In this blog I'm going to explore many of the ways that you can be a go-getter in this business and I'll also show you just why you should NOT be concentrating on the money.

Alright, so you're wondering just why you shouldn't concentrate on the money when you're selling online?



Here's why.



I see too many marketers trying their hardest to sell. They thrust affiliate links under your nose at every opportunity. They point out all the benefits and why you should buy now. They tell you that you would be dumb to pass up an opportunity like this. And so on, and on, and on until you're sick of it.



Well I guess some people fall for this bolshy level of marketing. But, I can tell you from firsthand experience, not many do.



There's a limit to how much hard sell people will put up with. Generally they will see right through you and turn away as quickly as possible.



Imagine you are in a department store and one of the assistants walked up to you and said, 'Hi, we've got this great offer on diamond necklaces today. You'd be crazy to pass up on this offer because tomorrow it will be gone'.'



What would you do? Most people shy away from anything to do with direct selling unless it is something that they actually wanted to buy in the first place. That's why, 99% of the time, the hard sell just doesn't work.



So what should you do?



Well first you should find out exactly what your customers are interested in. Then you can show them something that solves their problem or their greatest need. Don't sell it to them, at least not directly. Just show it to them and let them make up their own mind.



Chances are, if the product is good enough and it really does solve their problem, they'll buy it and actually thank you for bringing it to their attention.



See the difference? Good, now apply that when you're affiliate marketing. You know it makes sense.

nice blog....you are correct on the hard sell approach, I would do without before going along with a person trying to 'twist my arm'.

Thanks for all the comments. I was inspired to write this simply from reviewing a lot of the emails that come into my Inbox from other marketers. I noticed that I bin the hard sell ones immediately.
I guess I'm not the only one.
