Workplace Design is Important!
Hi there, I would like to share my experience. Few days ago I have bought myself desk from IKEA. It was cheap, maybe $30 with delivery. However, to get it cheaper, I had to buy the table and the legs separately.
It's my workplace up in the featured image. Dimensions are small (100x60cm), but I don't need bigger one for my laptop and mouse.
Also, I have bought two flowers to bring some life into this black color. But why am I sharing this with you?
Because when the workplace is nice and relaxing, I seem to have more will to work and it's somehow easier for me to write articles. Of course, headphones are also important part because I often play some study music from youtube which helps me to think better.
It's nothing special, but good enough to be relaxing and force me to work.
I don't know if it's just me, but this helps me.

I've done the same,
Previously I was sitting on the couch with my laptop and with the television on in the background but kept losing focus.
I have since bought a new desk and chair (also from ikea), I've set it up in a spare room, now my focus has improved dramatically and I can get my work done faster and better than before.
It's most definitely worth the investment.
