I don't understand fully what the problem is. You can clone your website which is hosted at the other service and then bring it over to WA. No problem with this. It will maintain your Theme even it is not a choice here.
Hi,
I created a website 2 years ago with wordpress.
beeneetaddecor.wordpress.com.
I want to transfer this website to WA & once done I will buy the domain.
Transfers here are now done through Site Domains. Once you go there you will see several options for transferring domains to wa. It will talk you through step-by-step. Since you did not create your domains here it will not have the Site Rubik's extension. But I don't think you can transfer any domain unless you actually own it. I have done many transfers to wa. And now I'm transferring them away from wa which is much more difficult and well beyond the capabilities of most beginners. My webmasters all have at least 5 years of real programming experience. And even they make mistakes at times.
You can also create a temporary working domain here and then buy a domain and transfer the code to that domain name. But for domains that already exists you must go through site domains.
Ooh thabk you.
I tried once & was charged $17.. I have no idea what it was really.. so i cancelled it & got my refund.. I was definitely doing some thing wrong.
So thank you for the tips..
What you tried to do was physically move your domain registration from one location to another. That isn't necessary and it will always cost you money to do that. Just point your domain name servers to wealthy affiliate and then and go to site domain and transfer it here.
First, create a siterubix site here for the site. Go to http://beeneetaddecor.wordpress.com and create a back full backup. Then, login to your siterubix and restore the backup files there. In case you find this difficult, you can ask the site support to help you. Full Backup With a Plugin
So I was following the link you sent. but when it came to plugins, I realised my wordpress account doesn't have any plugin tab on the left.
I have search for other options on google but can't find any
