2016 - Make It Your Healthiest Year Ever!
The New Year Is A Chance To Create New Health Goals
The year 2016 is fast approaching. It is a fantastic time to evaluate business, relationship and health goals. Most of us would like to be healthier, fitter, and full of energy. As on-line entrepreneurs, we are faced with many long hours ahead; sitting in front of a computer and the research is clear that sitting is the new smoking in reference to health issues.
I challenge each one of my readers to write down three easy and doable health goals for the new year. Examples could be:
- Buy a walking desk and walk two hours a day
- Buy a Fitbit and accumulate 10,000 steps a day
- Choose skim milk lattes over whole milk
- Buy a gym membership and go at least once a week
- Join a social group that centres around a fitness activity like salsa dancing
- Drink more water everyday
- Make a promise to eat salad instead of fries- for a whole year
- Have a complete physical and have a medical doctor analyze your risk for disease
- Join a running or hiking group
- Walk the dog everyday
- Start a journal and record all your activity for the whole year (2016)
- Buy an electric assist bike and use it instead of your car
Keep the health journal by your bed and keep a recored of your three goals and record all the things you do to create a healthy you.
