How long does it take to get site trust to 100%?

A relatively short period of time in the scheme of things. My site trust goes up consistently by 10% each month. So after 10 months it should be at 100%.

In the scheme of building a business from scratch I consider this is a very short amount of time (assuming that site trust measure accurately measures how Google trusts your site).

Well, I've been here for 3 months and I'm only up to 30%, despite having several posts on pg 1 of google. It takes lots of time and quality content.

I think this is also affected by plugins. My site trust went down when I started adding more plugins. I have stopped looking at it.

You get site trust by writing posts and expanding your pages. Anything worth while takes time and consistent work. Build a strong foundation for your website and you will succeed. Fast success is always a scam.

I wonder if the determination of the percentage of trust takes into account the demands of creating new content. If I was simply researching for content I could add more info regularly. Being an art site, I find myself very involved in creating original content.

Any insight anyone?

Pushing to increase your site trust is a worthwhile effort - but I'd suggest you look beyond that goal. Consider watching the amount of traffic you get to your site, and trying to increase that number. Once your site is getting traction and your traffic is growing, monitor the conversion rate of your traffic and use that as your indication of success.

Bottom line is you should focus on that metric that is closest to your website goal. For many here, that will be profitability.

Best of luck with it!

Dennis

I am adding 2-3 posts per week and reply to comments within 24 hours. My site trust increases with 10% about every month.

a very loooooommgg time. so be patient, and keep building your site. Trust comes much later after you and your site is proven to be worthy, and that takes a long, committed time

When using the keyword tool here at WA and Jaaxy, what is the minimum number of traffic a keyword should have?

I do not think I would go below 20 myself.

20 has always been my rule of thumb, and it's good to see that I'm not the only one that thinks that ;). In my experience, sub-20 is worthwhile if you have an exceptionally narrow target audience, and the conversion rate and profit margin are high enough to justify it.

Low competition keywords often have a below average cost per click, but the question becomes is that $ and more importantly research/writing time worth that level of traffic?

What kinds of success have you had with

In the training, Kyle says to find words with at least 50 traffic. I have gone a bit lower than that but I wouldn't want to go too low (like under 20).

Thanks Andrea :)

Jay has a great video on keywords. Go to Live Video Classes and take a look at it. Good luck with your keyword search

Thanks for the tip :)

Hi, I more focused on conversion!
Like for example 5 people a day visit my site or page..1 converts..thas.my goal..maybe I am wrong..
I think is up to you to decide.. Whatever works for you
WA forever

Yes it is important because it tells us how many (per month) that keyword is used in the search engine. It's not worth using if that number is less than 20 in my opinion... especially when Jaaxy can give me more choices

Thanks pisces, I'll try different searches to find something above that.

You are entirely welcome --

You must have some traffic otherwise it is pointless. Everybody will give you different number I guess. I would not go below 15-20.

Thanks, I'll take that to account for my next keyword research

That depends on how you're using the keyword... Do you want to use the keyword in a domain, or for blog post/page?

for blog post/page

This is just my opinion here, but there is no magic number for this. But I would always want my main keyword to have at least somewhere around 2,000 - 5,000+ searches per month. Then I would rely on long tail keywords to bring traffic with that as well.

If you try to go for too big of keywords, the competition is bigger, which makes it harder to rank for something. I've always had better luck with my long tail keywords bringing in the highest quality traffic.

Thank you, I'll make sure to look for something in between those numbers

When I try to register at paypal , I have to choose from two different type of accounts. I chose the one to receive payments but it says it is for enterprises, which I'm not, ca

from what i can remember its been a few years .there's the normal account then there's a merchant one.you only need a merchant one if you are taking credit cards payment, this account has to also be verified easy to do but for affiliate stuff the everyday account is all you need.hope this helps

Thanks, from what I've been searching too, the everyday account works well for affiliate stuff.

Personal account has limited amount for receiving payments.
Because Paypal has updated service just read, follow the instructions carefully and choose which is more useful for you.Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I was wondering about that for new members

You are welcome :)

Thanks, I just saw my account and it says I can update the personal account to a enterprise one. :)

You are welcome.Good luck!...

The business account has more stuff to it, like I think, embedding a Paypal payment into a page and forwarding completed payments back to your payment received thank you page. But I could be wrong.

Thank you Fred.

Hey Joseph
I work out of my personal one for both types of transactions.
However, I've had mine for many years, .
I don't think that's an issue though
Have a great week end
Joseph

So you can receive your WA payments in your personal account?

yes, however I've had it for quite a while,
You can try, and cancel your account if for any reason it doesn't work. Get someone to send you money via your "associated paypal email account.

Thank you, I`ll try that out.

If you want to get payed to your pay pal account you will need a Premier account because with the Personal account people cant pay into it,it is for you to buy things on line and pay others.

ah thanks for the info I need to change mine ;-)

So what kind of account do I need here for WA?

sounds like enterprise is the way to go, I have to go check that out, looks like I have the wrong one

I chose enterprise but it asks for the address of my company and other stuff I simply don`t have :S

I chose personal but am not 100 % sure I did it right

It is for tax purpose, and when you start any kind of business you more or less start out as an enterprise.

What was the other option, a business name?

No, the other option was a personal one but it says it's mainly for buying, which one did you choose?

enterprise

I can buy or sale. So Enterprise was the best option.

Ok, thanks Cali. Have a nice day

Your welcome and thank you.

How can I build a nice-looking website?

This is a tough one, I would say, use a nice theme first and foremost....something simple but with a few features that you can customize. I like Evolve and Nirvana for free themes.

Make sure your header is nice, keep it simple.

I would love to buy a premium them based on the Genesis framework when I can afford it, but for now I use Evolve.

Think about the things you would like on a site, then build that!

BDF

Make sure that you choose mobile friendly theme and just follow step by step lessons here at WA. :)

Hi I will be coming back to get some advice .Good Question.
