Reflecting on My Journey with WA on New Year's Day

Ok, it's kind of weird to have reflection on a New Year's Day. It should have been done like yesterday or last month. But as they say "better late than never". So I will go on to share with you my reflection. But before anything else, I would like to wish everyone of you a Happy New Year 2021!

How I started with WA

I got to know about WA in 2016. I started with free membership, logged in and looked around but did little about it as I found that I was a bit overwhelmed with too much information. Another thing is I was busy with my physical product business so WA was another shiny object opportunity I saw on my entrepreneur journey. I guess I was just not ready back then.

It did not germinate until...

Fast forward to end of 2019, I chanced upon the WA Black Friday Sale from the emails I received from WA. With the few years of online business behind me, I felt the need to learn more about affiliate marketing. That was the time I got serious and paid for WA membership, and that was also the time I realized that "Boy, what have I been missing!"

I started delving into the various courses and offering of WA. Oh, the membership comes with websites. Hmm, there are quite a lot of classes available for people of various levels. There seems to be a very warm and supportive community as I received emails informing me of some new following here and there once in a while.

Wow! The are a few types of training! There is this structured training which is called the Online Entrepreneur Certification. Then there are weekly classes by @magistudios on various topics. So I started with the Online Entrepreneur Certification Level 1 course hoping to lay the foundation and really learnt about Affiliate Marketing with no fluff.

I also signed up and attended the weekly lessons on Saturday morning (It's Friday night for those of you in the US and Canada). I really enjoyed the interactivity and content of the classes!

I am pleased to share that I am now close to completing Level 2 course. I just need to publish one more blog post with a focus keyword and I am done. I should be able to get that done over this holiday weekend. Even though I have taken a while to reach where I am and I wish I have done it sooner and be more productive, I am happy with the little progress I have made thus far.

What I Have Been Working On

My niche is Make Money Online and I have started a blog sharing my own journey and sharing with people who would like to start making money online the lessons learnt. I started this blog in the middle of last year.

So far I have written a few articles on the site and I was informed recently that one of them was starting to rank on Google. Yay! I know it's still early days and I will have to continue working on this website but I am really happy to see that there is some result for my effort.

My Plans and Goals in the Upcoming 3 Months

I plan to complete the Online Entrepreneur Certification in the next 3 months and if my time permits, I will also want to get started on the Affiliate Bootcamp. One thing that I feel I need to improve on is the speed of execution. I need to produce blog posts faster and more consistently.

My goal is to achieve 300 sign-ups for my email list in the next 3 months. I hope to start making money with my blog.

My Plans and Goals in the Upcoming 6 Months

In 6 months' time, I hope to start another website in a different niche once I get the hang of this. I will also make it a point to keep learning and attending the classes offered by WA.

My dream is creating multiple streams of income with my affiliate sites so that I can achieve financial security in the long run and do whatever I love to do to share my knowledge with the world.

Last but not least...

The last thing that I would like to share with you is I would want to make the best use of WA to enable my success. I am very thankful and happy with WA that I upgraded my membership to Premium Plus when it was launched. Really it was a no brainer for me knowing that there is so much value in this membership.

Oh, I almost left out the awesome technical support team that is ever so responsive! Thank you for the great support and help!
