I have seen one vid on pages and posts but it does not help me. I need to know how to use them so both are displayed at the top of my site and how to make a drop down menu. righ

You should really only have a few pages, About Me, Contact, Privacy Policy, MAIN FEATURE PAGE...
Everything else is Posts based on Keyword Research. You make use of Categories by assigning your posts to categories, and use categories in your menus... You can assign a post to multiple categories, if it fits... WordPress Categories Tutorial
Thanks Gary, I have 4 pages apart from the one's you mentioned . I'm not sure how to judge which should be my main feature page... The articles on my pages are quite long unlike my posts so I will have to think what to do with them.

Thank you. I looked at 3 Blogs and I didn't see any pear-shaped wording. Did you fix this?
I did notice your Theme might be restricting the full screen. It seems to be cut short from the full page view.
Have you thought about switching Themes?
No it's not fixed properly it takes ages to space it out and if I add something else to the post/page it all collapses again . I hadn't thought about switching themes but I could do that ...

No you won't see any spacing issues because I spent so much time juggling it all around to make it ok. It happens with each post and page I write it becomes so complicated and time consuming....not to mention frustrating Grrr. I will try your idea and thank you for your offer of help it's very kind of you

Hi I've found a good keyword for a site I want to build but there are no .com .org or .net there is only .biz. I don't want to add words around this KWD if I don't have to so
Well... I wish I knew the keyword you are talking about... but blindly, I would not accept .biz or any other than .com because people have habits and .com is one. They don't think twice about typing it (and I do the same for my PayPal address which is a .net) when they find themselves on a strange site, they then discover their mistake...but wait, there's more.
Now that they are on your competitor's site (which is the .com you can't have), they look around and perhaps join -- but you will never know that, will you?
The keyword I wanted is Totalfitness.com which as a kwd has thousands of monthly searches and not to much competition but there is only .biz...I have totalfitnessbody.com already which has far fewer searches though and thought ''total fitness'' would be better. I am not quite ready to use it yet as I am working on a dog training site at the mo'. I take your point about someone being on my competitors site...thanks for the advice .
You are very welcome... you could try myTotalFitness.com or TotleFitness4You.com but Peewee... you must have .com or your closest competitor will get half of your traffic by accident... not good :-)

i think pisces was giving more examples of what domains you can try for but i think totalfitnessbody.com is great because you are adding another keyword to your domain (not the most important) but still easy to remember and relevant... (don't get too hung up on the domain here.. .think about your angle and what would be a 'cool' domain name for your audience within your fitness niche

I just wanted to add that to not pick totalfitnessbody.com just because it is memorable and is relevant... this one sounds very targeted to fitness enthusiasts, but if your angle is more targeted to women, eg., then the mytotalfitness.com might be more enticing... think about your audience and what name might stand out to them. ;)

Cheers Kathy I have just had a look ....I should not be so hung up with having keywords in my domain :( I always thought having that helps one's rankings.....
it used to be a big factor, not so much anymore as Kyle explains. Good for us, makes it easier to find a domain name!
Best to get a .com if you can. Don't worry too much about the KW in the domain name, just focus on building a brand that'll be helpful.

I look everything up first to see if I can find the answer before asking for help ( apart from this time when I wanted an opinion ) and I am learning so much from having to find the answers...granted it takes muuuuch longer but I have learned a lot on the way.
I always let Jaaxy choose... did you use it? But I do like the first one even though "obedience" is often a misspelled word when in-search-of. I try to use 6th grade spelling. Was everything on "training" taken? Jus' sayin
Hi pisces , I actually used AW kwd tool , market samurai and keyword advantage to find the kwd and then namecheap ..I thought of the two domain names myself. I have the free version of jaaxy right now with just a few more searches left ( I did not think to let it choose but market samurai does that as well) ..I won't upgrade when I have used all the searches I'm allowed as the other three kwd tools seem to be enough.thanks for the advice, much appreciated!
You don't need to worry too much about your domain name being a good keyword (Kyles advice) but the shorter name is better.

I checked quickly with the WA keywordtool and the keyword "dog obedience training" gets a lot of searches.
If it is already taken, I would take "mydogobediencetraining.com
