Recovering from the "Doldrums."
So this is my 6th month being a WA member and I am still excited to be a part of this new journey. I haven't posted in a while for several reasons; none of which measure up in the grand scheme of things at WA. I have to admit that the last couple of months have been challenging not only with multiple distractions but with the doldrums that set in soon afterwards. I see these things for what they truly are: bumps in the road on the way to success. I realize that if allow these "bumps" to get me sidetracked, I will never reach my destination. So I am re-grouping and re-focusing. I just read a post about goal-setting (thanks Kyle!) that was very timely as I am emerging from the doldrums. Since I am a clinician by profession, I use goal setting everyday to help shape my treatments. So I just have to practice what I preach; I will start setting simple goals on a weekly basis in order to forge ahead. I appreciate all the support WA Family! And I will certainly pay it forward...!

Indeed, it is very easy to get caught up in daily routines and unforeseen events that rain on us out of the blue! You are not alone. I've been trying to dedicate more time to my site since 2017; always putting it aside to take care of other issues. No more! Dedicating even a very small amount of time every day helps me (even 30 minutes). When I miss one day, I put myself on check and don't feel good until I go back to the training. This is my newly acquired system. Looking forward to finally completing Level 3. Stay well!
