Leave emotion out of the equation

I just came up with that title as I reviewed my last blog on this site.

When doing business in general it is a good idea to leave your emotions at home. Everybody is just in business to offer a service to somebody or a product. You can be a competitor with somebody without trying to rip their heads off :P

The 'business opportunity' niche is one that I have been closely followeing for some years and things are changing..and they are getting better!

But with change also will come some resistance to that change..because you and I might not see the purpose of something yet (facebook...anyone?)

Last time I was not very nice about GDI, they offer people to make a website in a very easy way. The catch is that it is a .ws domain (I never saw any of thse anywhere)

Well I got emotional and called it a rip of scam, and I now officially take that back ;)

They just do stuff different then Godaddy or HostGator.

A different example of a new business opportunity which I am looking at is Neurs.com

Now on the internet I read some reviews that are negative about it

What Neurs is (in my opinion) a platform similar to LinkedIn. Now I saw that people have also called that a scam but I don't agree with that. Thet goal of that site is to make a database of all business opportunities (in any form) out there and connect these ideas with the right people much like dating.

They launched this April.

I believe you can compare them to WA in some ways the only difference is that they are targeting a different audience, an audience that is on a higher knowledge level.

I think a lot more stuff like that is going to pop up, digital service and products.

We are entering a real 'information era' especially in internet marketing where people will try to sell information at a higher price.

I think that in some ways it can be good. For example: the products and the cost of admission is much higher then at WA. this is fine because it attracts people that are very serious about what they want.

If you underprice a product or service it will also have less value for the person that bought the service.

My advise

I know that you are being thought stuff over here in a certain way but I highly recommend you develop your own style, in reviewing or in whatever it is you do.

I choose never to use the word scam again. (unless I can prove it really is one)

A lot of stuff on the internet is being called a scam when it's not, you might not understand it now, like I did last time but then you may regret saying something.

Instead of calling out scams... give products (if you promote others) a certain level so the viewer can be prepared for it. And decide if they are at that level.

I personally hated it when people would call a certain product a scam when my dad was promoting it. Made me feel as if they were calling him a criminal.

That's all.
