Me too. Because I was so new to the internet, so innocent, and so gullible, I bought into a few big promises that were very empty. But at least it got me to WA. And Im sure we all know enough now to never get scammed again.
That's right, Pauric! We need those bad experiences so we aren't so naive and trusting. But they are still hard. And EXPENSIVE!
This is exactly it! Our usual problem is the pressure we feel to do it now so we rush and do a bad job and then blame everyone but ourselves. In this case good steady output will eventually always win out. We need to keep focussed and think how we can help the potential customer and how to address all of their concerns.

Yes That is right. Only last Monday morning I got a message saying I had earned money on Amazon. It was totally unexpected. But a great start to the week.
Yes it sets a positive tone for the whole week. My Amazon Affiliate reports arrive on a Monday morning once a month. Maybe thats why they send them on a Monday morning.
I haven't really looked into the exact day of the week that they email me with my monthly report. I'll do that.
