I need to place a product photo/graphic in my side bar. I figured out how to place text in the side bar but the product image is not showing up. Thanks everyone.
You can try the Image Widget plugin.
All you'd do is add an image from your WP media library, add the link you want, and you could also add caption.
I use it to greet my visitors with a photo of myself and a few sentences. Plus one that links to one of my pages.
It's pretty easy to use.

I've tried everything. Tag line and site title will not update. Using Elite Pro theme. Also can't figure out how to eliminate site preview page.
Hi Paul. I'm going to presume that you are using a Wordpress site. Open your dashboard and go to your Settings/General. Somewhere on that page, I think it's at the top, is a place for you to name your site and create a tagline. You can edit this. Go ahead and make your changes and REMEMBER TO SAVE!! ;)

Hello Alanna. I have done this already. Someone else had the same problem and they stated that they had to remove the header. The updates they made were behind the header. How would I remove the header? Yes it is a Wordpress site. This issue is really holding up my progress.

Why can't I update site title and tag line?

But later I'd get it set up sing gmail ( for example) so that pulls your http://domainname.com emails into Gmail so you don't have to mess around logging into more than one email account.
Am I right, that you havent set up an emailaddress on your domain yet? So it doesnt happen automatically, that there is the possibility to send an email to your domainname? Do you know that?
You have to set up an emailaddress like mailto:info@yourdomain.com or mailto:office@youdomain.com or mailto:yourname@yourdomain.com and so on...

Go to the Emails section in the Site Manager. There you will see the email Login button. You will need to copy/paste the password that has been provided for you there.

Looks like you have got some good help so far, but wanted to chime in.
Basically what being ranked means is that Google and other search engines have crawled your website and began including you site in search results.
To do this you there are some basic things you need to be doing, like posting quality content frequently on a consistent schedule.
Two other things you need is a SEO plugin for your website that will help you site get ranked and also creating and submitting a sitemap.
Not sure how far you are along in the training, but if you haven't got to the SEO plugin and sitemap don't worry that is covered in the training.
Another thing you asked was about every page getting ranked. Most likely all the pages on your website will get ranked, but to see any real traffic to them they need to be on the first page.
You should not except all of the content you create to get ranked on the first page because it never will unfortunately. That is why it's important to create content frequently.

PageRank is what Google uses to determine the importance of a web page. It's one of many factors used to determine which pages appear in search results and in what order. To be on page 1 means that you will get the majority of searches
As you publish more to your website and add content you will get ranked. You can also be ranked by helping others with their questions and being in discussions, giving comments on others websites, etc. The more you are involved the better your ranking will get. The lower the ranking number the better.. Good luck!!!
