God morning WA Community
Welcome to my first Bot Attack on WA
Yesterday I had an unwelcome Follower request from a profile with the name MrW1
Here's the sequence of events
1- Accepted a request from 'glenpalo' profile (innocent person)
2 - Then got a message from said 'glenpalo' saying 'Thanks for sharing' to which I responded (foolishly) 'Your welcome

3 - then came a follow request from an account with the name 'MrW1' which I accepted.
4- Next I started to receive mail from MrW1 all saying 'Thanks for sharing' .
That's when I notice something was wrong, I reached out to the community and got some good advice, however by then I had already deleted 35 messages in my email.
I thought that was the end of it, however late in the evening I got a flurry of messages, that when I realize that it was in my profile replicating itself in every message I had. I left the messages and went to bed.
Fast forward to this morning, in my mail I had to delete 57 new messages.
How to STOP It
This is what I did
I went into my profile and deleted every message I received from MrW1, except one, then with that last message I unfollowed MrW1.
Anyone who now have this BOT infection, I suggest you do with I'm doing.
I still checking to see if I missed any of it's messages'
Beware the words 'Thank for Sharing' ^_^
Cheers
