Interesting. I just watched this with someone else. I got the number of passes correct and missed the gorilla. She got the passes incorrect and noticed the gorilla.
I'm assuming that the two passes she missed were from seeing the gorilla and it pulling her attention off the passes, and that I missed the gorilla by focusing so much on the passes.
Appreciate the share, and an impressive test in demonstrating how focused some of us are as opposed to others, and how that focus can exclude external factors not relevant to the intent.

Thanks, Jason. I think you are correct. Getting both right is harder as your attention shifts from one to the other.

I got it both right with the chocolate kisses. I saw the duck in the second one with multiple hands and another hand replacing the other cup with a green cup. I had no problems. I use my eyes because I am Deaf. My eyes 👀 caught it all. Thats a good one! I love it. Thanks, Paul, for sharing.
