A Happy New Year for Me
Great news flooded over my laptop monitor, yesterday morning, as I was replying to a comment I had receieved.
I had just "cracked" the WA 200!
In April, I will have been here, ... for 4 years!
Time flies when you're having fun. Over a million people spend a large part of their lives here and it's easy to understand why. This is an education program beyond all expectation. When I landed here almost 4 years ago, I was looking for a way to get into the Online Marketing World.
Needless to say, I didn't have a clue. I had been ripped-off severely, 3 times, and couldn't believe that at my age, I was so naive.
This song by Manfred Mann's Earth Band is one way of describing what had happened to me.
Another way would be to say that I had fallen gravely ill from SOS, ... yes Shiny Object Syndrome!
Lucky for me the climate here was mild, warm, and sunny. This was the cure for the SOS I was suffering from.
In much better health, I proceeded to work my way through the mountains of information and people that lived here. I got lost often, and for days at a time.
Being an experienced outdoorsman and mountainman, (in my own mind), I sat down, took a few deep breaths and asssessed my situation. I was still lost, but I knew that if I kept my cool and studied the landscpe, I could find my way back home.
Home for me today is Wealthy Affiliate.
Home is more than a physical building. We've all been to houses that are stale and lifeless. Homes are full of life, full of people experiencing joys and sorrow, frustration and success. It is a place where you gather with family and friends.
I can't say enough, to everyone that has helped me during the past 4 years, but I can say thank you and express my gratitude to all here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Have a Meaningful 2019 and Success to one and all!
Again, ... Thank You!
Paul
