Dressing the part
To me it is important to dress the part, by this I mean wearing the appropriate clothing for whatever the occasion may be. Example, dressing appropriately for an interview or picture day at school, the list goes on. In today's world, I see many people dressed however they want. I have interviewed people at my previous jobs and had to turn them down by the way they presented themselves through their lack of not dressing the part. For me, they didn't take the job or themselves seriously.
I feel like a sense of accountability has faded and a lot of the younger generations don't get the bigger picture when it comes to stuff like this. I bring this up simply because I care, especially having counseled teenagers and young adults most of my life. I think it is essential to dress the part/appropriately depending on the occasion.
