Completing Course 2. It seems like a long time ago since I started this adventure. My website is up and running and thanks to the good folks here at Wealthy Affiliate, I've gotten some comments and I'm really happy with the progress.
For people on the outside looking in, and for Google, my efforts must look sporadic. My struggle last year was that I was traveling so much (I am not complaining) but I felt like I was either getting ready to go or playing catch up. I have a few other sites that I was working on prior to coming here so with those and this one and the courses (and oh yeah, that thing I do called work! and taking care of the house), I was stretched. I'd get everything done and then go away. Repeat. I was consistent when I was here.
This year will be quieter I think. The suitcase is stowed. I spent the month of January with goals and planner, de-cluttered and got myself, my house and more importantly my office in order and I hit February 1st running. I've posted to all blogs. I've promoted them more. I've worked through the courses here and another I'm working on.
We've managed to keep the house organized and clean. I have managed to avoid every dastardly bug that had sickened and knocked out every other person in my office one by one! AND I have lost 12 lbs. So I am very very proud of being consistent and persistent and just quietly picking away, day after day.

Jim Rohn said "Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines practiced every day," and that's what I have been doing!
There are days that I feel like I have gone back to college and that I'm too old for this! But then I shake it off and keep going.
I have very little time. I'm lucky if I can squeak 2 hours every day so I have been guarding my time and not spending much time on WA interacting. I try to make a couple comments, hit a couple blogs, hit a few G+, help someone and then go get my work done.
But I have to say, even though I'm not chatting on here all the time, that this community is really great. Having the support and knowing that there's help here has been a tremendous gift that I do not take for granted! I hope that you understand why I am rationing my time!
For right now, my goal is to keep going as I have been. Take the next course. Keep posting. And how about this? Make some $$$. I would like to see some money coming in this March.
Best of luck to all of you here!
