My online Journey to date!

I first became interested in online marketing way back in about 1999. At that time the internet itself was was just developing. Not many people were making any money online and those who were, were keeping their cards ( strategies ) close to their chest. There was no guidance as to where to go or what to do next.

Like most people starting out then, I " wasted " a lot of money trying this and that. Nothing worked. Ii floundered and eventually gave up.

Some years later I re-entered the race.

I came in contact with a website called "Sitesell" by a Canadian doctor-Ken Evoy.

In retrospect, Sitesell was a very good program. It focused on building a website based on CTPM ( Content, Traffic, Presell, Monetize ). The idea was that it your website was loaded with good ( valuable content ), it would attract a constant stream of visitors with credit card in hand-ready to buy. Naturally it would rank highly in the search engines, especially in Google.

My problem with Sitesell was that for a newby seeking to make some fast cash, it was loaded with information that you had to wade through. The website building process involved making at least 30 quality pages before you could publish your site.

It also insisted on choosing a niche that you were knowledgeable and passionate about.To this day I cannot identify anything that Ii am really passionate about.

And so I left Sitesell and started looking again. Same old story of joining this and buying that program offering a large pot of gold at the end of that particular rainbow. Nothing made me any money.

I migrated back to sitesell and again gave up-frustrated and demoralized.........
