7 Years In… And I’m excited to be a part of the WA Fam.
If you would’ve told me 7 years ago that I would be building, learning, and growing in the online space, I probably wouldn’t have fully understood what that journey would look like.
Seven years of learning how to build websites.
Seven years of understanding how online business really works.
Seven years of developing skills that I didn’t even realize would one day become the foundation for something bigger.
I have learned so much.
What’s interesting is this—everything I’ve learned over the years didn’t just stay as knowledge. It eventually turned into something real… something meaningful… something with purpose.
That’s where Gospel Swag begins.
A Movement That Happens to Sell Clothing
Gospel Swag didn’t start as a business idea—it started as a calling.
After spending 12 years as a missionary in Cape Town, I came back home to visit my mom. During that time, she slipped getting out of the car and fractured her hip, and everything changed. I stepped into a new season as a full-time caretaker.
Now I had two things on my heart:
- Continue spreading the Gospel
- Find a way to generate income while being present at home
Then I realized…wait, I can actually do both of these things with what I’ve already learned.
At that moment, it hit me—I wasn’t starting from scratch. I already had the foundation. Through what I learned at Wealthy Affiliate, I understood how to build websites, use search engine optimization, and create an online business.
I had everything I needed to build something that could both spread the Gospel and generate income.
And that’s where Gospel Swag was born.
More Than Clothing—It’s a Message
Let’s think about this for a second—what we wear speaks.
Every day, people represent brands without even thinking about it. Logos, slogans, designs…they all communicate something.
So I asked myself, why not spread the Gospel the same way?
Gospel Swag was created to give believers a way to wear their faith boldly, with confidence, and yes…with some style.
The Challenge I Saw

Here’s the challenge I kept noticing—
There weren’t many modern, clean, and meaningful Christian clothing options for young people or young adults who actually wanted to represent their faith in a relevant way.
Some of the designs didn’t connect with today’s youth culture.
At the same time, many people today are searching for something deeper.
They’re looking for purpose and meaning in what they wear and what they represent.
And what we wear can reflect exactly that.
Faith + Fashion = Opportunity
You would probably agree with me that fashion is one of the most visible forms of communication we have.
What we wear says something before we even open our mouths.
When you combine faith and fashion, you’re not just creating clothing…you’re creating conversation starters.
You’re opening doors to:
- Encourage someone
- Share your faith
- Represent something bigger than yourself
That’s the heartbeat behind Gospel Swag.
A Few Pieces That Carry the Message
Let’s keep it simple and intentional—every piece is designed with purpose.
One example is the “Grace Made Me” hoodie.

That message is powerful because it reminds us that we’re not defined by our past, our mistakes, or even our performance—we’re shaped by God’s grace.

Another piece is the “Pray Area” hoodie.
<img src="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0624/1442/2075/files/Christian_Hoodie_Pray_Area_Hoodie_Wear_the_Mission.png?v=1770682701" alt="Pray Area hoodie Christian faith based apparel" style="width:100%; max-width:500px;">
In a world full of distractions and noise, this message is a reminder to stay connected to God, to make space for prayer, and to stay grounded spiritually.
Real Life, Real Impact
This isn’t just for Sunday mornings.
These pieces are meant to be worn in everyday life:
- At church
- On campus
- During outreach
- Hanging out after service
- In everyday conversations
Because you never know who might see the message and be encouraged by it.
Sometimes, what you wear can start a conversation that leads to something much deeper.
If You Want to Be Part of It
I’m building Gospel Swag as a movement first—something that spreads the message of the Gospel in a creative and relevant way.
But if you’re someone who wants to represent your faith through what you wear, you’re welcome to check it out and support what we’re building.
Either way, I appreciate you being part of the journey.
P.S.
I’m grateful for the foundation I received here at Wealthy Affiliate that helped me turn an idea into something real.
