Forgive me people for asking. I need to know if I've got to upload my Privacy Policy Page onto the SiteMap and it non-indexed?

The privacy policy should be automatically added to your Sitemap regardless. You shouldn't have to upload it manually.

Thanks.

Yes noindex and nofollow of privacy policy. The sitemap encompasses everything on your site.

Thanks and I appreciate your sharing the links.

I changed my hosting to WA Hosting and in the process managed to lose all my content. Is there any way I retrieve this content or is it lost for good? Any help will be much app

It depends on your current relationship with the old host. If you still have time left on your account there, you can just log back into FTP and download your wp-content folder. If you already left the host and they deleted your stuff, then you cannot retrieve it.

But if you moved to WA, you should have downloaded your content! Do you still have the stuff you downloaded when moving to WA?

If you simply changed your DNS to WA hosting, then your content isn't "lost". It's just that you haven't uploaded the correct content to your website here. It's probably just sitting at your old host server ready to be downloaded (try FTP or cPanel if they have it)

Thanks a million Nathaniel for extending your kind hand my way. I did backup my site using WP Clone Plugin before I proceeded to nameserver my site to WA. I have a downloaded folder with WP-Admin/Content and Includes, etc in it and another one in a Zip folder. [I tried to up.

Anyway, I tried several times to download the content via FTP but for some reason, I can't connect. I also attempted going through the File Manager on the Cpanel. Files there seem to be empty.Just wondering if I'm missing s step or 2.

Always grateful for your helping hand.

After a long struggle, I just discovered that my Cpanel credentials were not working on File Zilla because the firewall was blocking them. I'll continue the struggle tomorrow morning taking a leaf from your suggestion on using FTP.

Try these troubleshooting tips: Firewall is one issue, but there are many other things you can try if FTP isn't connecting.

I could be wrong, but if you lost the content file from the server, I am afraid you might have lost it for good. It happened to me and learned in a hard way that you always want to create a back up for the server.

I highly appreciate your reaching out to help me find my bearing in this cyber-world. I actually backed my site before proceeding to move it to WA hosting.

It seems that there is a possibility of my retrieving my content from the backup files. But here is the thing:

I see that I've 2 backup files. One is a folder containing all the 3 WP-Admin/Content and Includes. Then lower down, I see a backup of the some but in a zip folder. I'm not sure which one I should open up at this time. I'd highly appreciate your advice.
Thanks in anticipation.

Once again, thank you very much. Just wanted to let you know that I've managed to locate the right back up with the articles. So, it's not as depressing as it seemed at first. Will keep in touch.

Sorry for not responding you sooner, but sounds like you have managed it well! I am so glad you had created a backup file before transferring!!

Best wishes for your success.

Kyoko

Must have missed something on my SiteContent walk through. I have two published and one unpublished article. SiteContent indicates that the buckets are empty. Can someone advis

Buckets

1. click on the grey bucket icon below the article in your article overview
2. If you haven't got any buckets yet, click create a new bucket
3. enter your bucket name and press 'add'
4. Your article is now added to the newly created bucket.

When you have already got a bucket, than it is as follows:
1. click on the grey bucket icon below the article in your article overview
2. Click on the bucket of choice to add your article to that bucket

Sorting:
When you click on the button before Article Title sorting on the top right below your name and level, you can choose between Grid and Buckets. With the Buckets sorting you can see all your articles divided per bucket. It then follows the All/Published/Unpublished menu for further filtering

Thanks a million StevenEsser. You've just made my day. I highly appreciate your reaching out. With gratitude!

You are welcome!
All the best!

Steven

Need clarification as to whether I set the Social Meta links with the domain extension or are they set with a personal name extension.

Thanks in anticipation.
PasekaK

Thanks for reaching out and lending with a word of encouragement. I appreciate you and will be following you.

Hey Paseka,

Not sure exactly what you are asking, so am offering two different tutorials.

How to create a custom url for your facebook fan page: https://youtu.be/TTx6fGf3F3I

How to custom URL for your Google plus:
https://youtu.be/CreHzuNRfiI

Hope this helps you.

Hi Triblu, First I appreciate your helping hand and am very grateful for the links you've shared with me. My immediate need was how I enter the Social Profile Links in the Social Meta on AIOSEO. There is a field to enter all the social links in there. I wanted to know if I enter my personal Twitter Url or my website URL. I've since found out that it's all up to my choice. Your links come into play once I've made my choice. Thanks.

Oooooh ... okay, then here's a video tutorial that will help you with that issue: https://youtu.be/Dfe49FiiAog

Hi PasekaK,

I'm almost as new as you. I'm just curious to see what kind of answers you'll get. I don't have any. Sorry. I will be checking in...

Cheers!
Don
