Never Give Up ON A Good Thing.

Hi All,

I've been away from my site for about a week as I've had my boys, who live with their dad, for the week which always leaves me a a bit sad when I have to give them back.

But, I've kept an eye on notifications, responded to a few and made notes of new things to try but yesterday and today when back in the saddle, so to speak, I felt really overwhelmed with the course I've chosen and wondering whether to carry on.

Have you felt like that? I'm not a computer geek (sorry geeks lol) by any stretch of the imagination and there just seems so much to do and learn. Even getting to grips with my theme feels like I'm walking through treacle to get it to do what I want.

I have launched a second site about knitting, which is my absolute favourite craft, so that is stretching and on top of that have had some bad news in my personal like, but whilst feeling sorry for myself, the sun came out and the following song came on the radio,

'Never give up on a good thing, remember what makes you happy...' by George Benson

This made me think about why I'm doind what I'm doing and my goals and the fact that finding WA was a brillinat find. So with renewed energy I refocused myself on what I need to do and made a list of tasks for this week that are achievable. All the other things I want to try can go onto next week's list and the week after.

I smiled when I was doing this as when ever I had a large task my mum would say, 'How would you eat an elephant?' Break it into small pieces.

So when you're feeling like it's all too much remember, not to give up as WA and your goals are good things and don't try to do it all at once, break it into small pieces.

Hope you're having a fab weekend and now humming the tune!.

Madsy xx

Writing a to do list is a great way of making yourself focus and you feel a great sense of accomplishment when you tick things off. The best of luck with your journey and if you feel you need help, be sure to ask either by using the search bar at the top or posting a question using the grey box with the pen in it, next to your blue rank box at the top right of the page :)

Thanks Jude, I have done so a couple of times, but you know when sometimes it's just that overwhelming feeling? Am out of it now though and have had a good afternoon compiling a new post so that's one off the list.
Hope you're ok after the rubbish week you've had?

I've been working on my website to take my mind off things - thanks so much for asking :) I'm pleased you feel you've achieved something this afternoon :)
