My Stubborn Sidebar I Need Help
My sidebar has been acting up on me. Few days ago I have noticed that I have two Menus on "Pages" on the sidebar. One titled "Site Pages" and the other "Pages". These having the same things.
I have been wanting to correct these and other things about my sidebar. for so long but with all the shifting, rearranging re-organising and try to do some exclusion (these are true but for emphasis) everything remains the same. Let me hasten to say for that matter having a tendency to get worse. It seems my sidebar needs help. It needs to see the Psychologist.
What can I do when I have gone into the Dashboard with a view to giving it the dash that I want it to have? Still yet there is no success. I have done all I can, trying with "managing widget and menu". Still......? I find it difficult to move on with such problem. I am just not moving on. I cannot. Even to recognise that the problem is on the front of my domain. The verandah so to speak. What a dilemma. I want to think I am having a serious problem. Please help me to correct the situation. I do know, however, that help is around.
I am therefore applying for assistance with this problem. Can someone help me, please?
These are the problems:
1. Two site Menus one entitled Pages and the other Site Pages.
This needs to be resolved by removing the one which says Site Pages
2. Need to have my About Me Page in another position
3. Majority of my posts are hidden from the public's view.
4. I cannot see and know- what to do with all I have done looking at how I could get to have a drop-down menu or having a way of showing those posts that are hidden onto the sidebar.

Oh wow that must be a pain in the ass. I am not the most technical person.. and not the quickest lol.
1. If you go into appearance and then widgets can you not delete on of the menu's from there?
2. Your About me page... I assume this is on your main top menu? Go into appearance and then menu's. Choose the menu your about me page is in and then on the right drag it to where you want it to be.
3. What do you mean your posts are hidden from view? I don't understand? Maybe pop a link to your website down so we can have a look.
4. Umm let's have a look at your website and see what you want done, maybe deal with problems 1-3 and then hit this one?

Hi Lynne, thanks for your quick response. Through your intervention I have resolved the #1 problem. You brought grace to my situation. Can you believe what you told me to do was what I tried over and in the same place to do?
The devil was in the making. I am still not able to do the rest. I need to do #3 to resolve #4. Yet to do #2. I have seen some instructions, on the platform to do # 4 but there is some thing I need to figure out with respect to putting in the link for the posts for the dropdown menu.

Ok so you have your website with a static home page. Meaning when people come to your website they land on your home page as opposed to a blog roll. I think maybe that is the problem?
So you mean that people can only access your posts on the left menus by clicking on latest posts, categories or archives?
