I have spent most of my time in the past 10 years being an Amazon associate which is awesome if you like small commissions.
However, recently I decided to expand my home decor site by joining Wayfair via the commission junction affiliate network.
Moreover, I also decided to expand into the make money online niche something I had avoided previously.
As a result I updated a few of my blog posts so that they will be ready just in time for the Christmas shopping season with some higher paying commission products.

Then it happened today
Today while checking my sales stats a routine I do daily, I noticed I had $97.30 commission! Talk about exciting. Don't get me wrong I am used to smaller Amazon commissions but this was something very different as I sold over $1300 in decor.
And it happened again but this time via Tailwind on Shareasale for my new website with only 3 articles.
With that being said I absolutely love Amazon and will continue to promote their products. As there is value in their website being trustworthy which inspires additional purchases. However, affiliate marketing is challenging and I would rather focus more of my energy on higher paying affiliate programs.
I know many here are struggling to make their first sales and I wanted to show this only to say keep the faith. Your sales are right around the corner just beyond your next big round of massive action.
The weekend is upon us and while you maybe tempted to relax consider investing in yourself and checking out some higher paying affiliate programs here in the wealthy affiliate members area. Bills don't relax on the weekend and neither should your affiliate marketing efforts.
