Encouragement - Where do you get yours?

I have been a little less active lately feeling things have not progressed as fast or as smooth as I felt they should. I began to become distracted and discouraged.

I knew that this was not a get rich quick thing, it was said right up front and that's what made stop to take notice. Here is a training that puts it right out front that there will be nothing gained if nothing is ventured. Similar to alchemy's number one law (equivalent exchange), things must be of equal value more or less. Time given to research and study, money invested in your craft or niche to become an authority. All of this for a potential profit and lifestyle we have dreamed for ourselves.

So as I recently watched a movie from a large streaming service, I was taken aback when a scene happens where a man must find an address in a system that only recognizes speech. As he does not speak he sets to the arduous task of physically looking for that needle in the haystack. Finding a pile of phone books he looks at every single line until he finally finds what he is seeking.

It struck me that I have not yet begun to put the time in that is required and my discouragement is self imposed. Knowing this I have realigned a few things in my priorities so that I don't become discouraged so easily in the future.
