Don't Be Afraid

I haven't posted in a while, but I just wanted to say.. Don't Be Afraid.

It's okay to try new things. It's okay to experiment. You aren't going to screw it up.

There is always the preview button, you don't have to Save or Publish.

As Jay recommends in Live Training, just create a free site or a 'play around post' that you don't Publish. Just save it to draft.. over and over. Google doesn't know it exists unless you publish. Neither do your visitors.

I play around with my live site. I know there is an 'undo' button so I can play around and make things better (hopefully, lol). If I like it, I then Publish, Update or Save (depending on your theme).

Preview option is a beautiful thing.

Don't Be Afraid. Try things. That is the only way forward.

Sound advice, Paula. I do have a testing site for me to play around with Block Editor, themes, etc. Regarding the writing, I always try to Save if first, and sometimes when I remember, I copy and paste it somewhere else just to be safe, but I have never thought about the Preview mode except for themes. Thank you for sharing. :)

Have a wonderful weekend.

The only way we improve is to repeat and repeat.

The preview button, is very handy.

Another good friend can be the edit button.

Oh and we can rest safe in the knowledge that we are not going to break the internet.

I agree, Paula, the best thing we can do is experiment and explore.

Well said, Alex.

You are so right. When I first started using a computer, I was so afraid of it! I was afraid I'd push the wrong button or do the wrong thing, and the whole machine would crash. Not nearly so timid any more. If it breaks, fix it! Surprisingly, I have not yet broken my computer.

I love you, Fran. :) You are the epitomy of this.
