3rd Anniversary and Signs of Success

It's been 3 years since I joined WA and went Premium. Wow! Time flies when you're having fun (and working hard). My most successful site so far (at least it has inklings of becoming successful) is a year old this month too.

I recently had enough Amazon sales and was approved as an Amazon Associate (finally!). As most of you know, when you're new, it's not as easy as some would think to be approved with Amazon. You have to make sure you have the disclaimer showing on your site, "As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases", and get 3 sales within 180 days. Well, maybe I wasn't pushing Amazon products too much those first few years but it's exciting now to get there.

It has been a learning journey the entire 3 years so far and I'm sure that will continue as I learn from the Super Affiliates here at WA. I owe some of the successes I'm having to the Premium Plus training. They really know their stuff and willingly share it.

While I'm not exactly where I want to be, I see the potential of what's to be with this newest website. I need to stay on the track I'm on and am considering paid ads to bring in more traffic, whether that's social media ads or search engine ads. I'm leaning toward Bing ads, but if anyone has some suggestions, I'm all ears. :)

Thanks for reading and all the support I've gotten over the past 3 years! You guys rock!

Happy Anniversary, and congrats on the success of your site. That's fantastic.

Before paying for ads, I would try to participate in forums or other discussion areas like Facebook Groups to establish yourself as an expert. Don't just promote yourself each time. Become active, then maybe include your site in a mention about 1 out of 10 times. You'll actually start getting clicks just through your signature as you get recognized as an expert on your topic.

That's a great idea, Jeannine. I'd started doing that with another of my sites but never seemed to have time since I still have a full-time job. But it would be worth doing for my current active site. Thanks for the input. :)

Thank you, Muslimah!

You are welcome.

Congratulations on 3 years Paula.
Looking forward to hearing from you for many more years :-)

Lisa, thank you. I hope the same from you. :)

Right on Paula. I can relate because I am in many ways in your shoes. One of the painful lessons I have learned is that before one can make meaningful affiliate sales we have to apply the training and tools to get the minimum traffic threshold.

My approach was backward. I started using affiliate links before I got the traffic and failed miserably lol. Things are getting better now.

I wish you continued success in your affiliate marketing journey.

Cheers.

Edwin, thank you! Well, I did put affiliate links on fairly early but it's starting to work. lol.

Good for you Paula. Since I only promote WA I find it hard to figure out where the referrals are coming from.

Cheers.

Great job, Paula! 👍
Check out Vitaliy’s training on Bing Ads, if you haven’t already.
