Keyword, Niche and Market Research

Greetings WA Community, I hope you are staying safe and being well. I was searching keywords in Jaaxy. I would like to a keyword that had a lot of potential...but I am not su

partial keywords numbers are for just that
the numbers are made up of all of the complete keyword people actually search for
don't be blinded by numbers and go for the low hanging fruits talked about in the training where the number seem low ( in reality they will be higher)
so go for complete keywords you would search for and to check whether you extensions would alter what google will think about ranking you for if it thinks you are a relevant result is to put the altered keyword into jaaxy and if the figures change then that is your true result.
keywords are what you type into google - and don't forget to look at user intent - think about why they would type it in - what information are they really looking for - answer that and you will rise in google quickly.
good luck
phil

Thank you for the input. Do you think that 118 QSR is too much?

for a starter site maybe
but remember to check page one of google to see who is there - if you recognise ( you do know who the authority sites are in your niche don't you) hte top authority sites then maybe twaek it to mean the same thing but in a different way and try that.

Hello Patrick, Kyle and Jay alwys say the KW should make grammatical sense so I think your KW should be I am Affirmations For Courage, at least. Have you looked it up in Jaaxy and tried it in google search to see what competition is there?

not good that way...less than 10.... I am affirmations for is like over 1200 by itself...but like you say..not make sense grammatically lol... so.. even though I have posted already...I need to come up with a different title it would appear...thank you for the insight

As Phil said, the intention of the people looking for things in google is very important. No one will put in google just "I am affirmations for", they will add what for.
It is really hard to find good keywords, I know it myself. It takes me hours :)

is there any flexibility with the 100 QSR number Kyle teaches us?

I can only tell you what my experience is. The ranking we achieve with keywords varies and it gets better with the age of the website. On my new website that is just 3 months old most of my posts are position 50 to 90, according to GSC. I did manage to get on page 1 with one keyword but that doesn't drive any traffic.

I have 2 other websites, one of them is 6 months old, I started it when I joined WA last year. The ranking gets better there and I even receive an organic comment now and then. I have only 15 posts there but one of them has a good keyword.

In my experience the numbers in jaaxy are not accurate and to be honest, I don't think there is any keyword tool that would tell you the numbers exactly. What's sure is just don't go for generic KWs, only for long-tail KWs. Then you can hit the jackpot with one of them.

Thank you! Curious.. after testing keyword titles on a post...do you ever go back and change them to something else to see if they rank better? Maybe that is covered more later as I continue with the training?

You can't really change the keywords because they are in the permalink (url) and that is not recommended to be changed, it would show an error to visitors. The only thing I do change are titles (my keywords are just part of the title).
It is really a big challenge to find good keywords, create a catchy title and rank well.

Cannot I just go in through my Wordpress dashboard and edit the Permalink? Or is there more to it than that if I do change the title of the post? I will have to research this a little more about changing permalinks etc.

It is possible to do that in your WP dashboard but changing the permalink causes problems once it's crawled by google. You can change it immediately after posting, before submitting to GSC.

WA Affiliate Program
Updated

Greetings,
FYI - I used an affiliate link to one of my WA Blog posts...opened in an incognito window... and when I went to exit, a WA pop up appeared to encourage a visitor

Yes, it needs to be updated along with the comparison chart and probably other banners and links that are available.

Should the pop up say two business ready websites?

Since there is no such thing as a bad question, I appreciate your sharing your thoughts with me. When you post on your WA personal blog, do you ever make those posts a part of

No, I don't make them a part of my website.

Or you write a short post on your website about the topic and then say click here to read more and send them to WA

You can point people from your website to your blog on WA though. E,g. You might have a page titled WA blogs or something more enticing on your website, list them and link it to WA.

That is a "Pretty" fantastic "Link" idea! Thank you.

It is not allowed. Because you will plagiarize yourself. Google doesn't want identical content. Or it doesn't matter wherever you extract your duplicate post. It is not allowed. 🌟💥✨⭐⚡🌈

Hi - no, WA is a website like any other, so if you post it on your personal website, Google will see it as duplicate content.

Thank you Diane. That makes sense.
