Crazy Drivers !!
I am not kidding, where i am from there are a lot of crazy drivers out there on the streets. Now i have a few pet peeves about those so called crazy drivers and i am sure a lot of people where ever your from have the same. Number one on my list is drivers who think for some special reason they can pass everyone on the right, which usually happens to be the turning lane, and then proceed all the way as far as they can get and then put there left turn signal on so someone, like me, who has been waiting in line like your supposed to lets them in. This my W.A. family drives me completely nuts. I don't get how these rude drivers don't have any conscience. Whats worse is when the person in front of you just lets them in. I guess my question is why cant you wait like everyone else has to. What makes you so special. I could go on and on about things that drive me mad but for now, if you have any input, i would love to hear it, good or bad.
Cheers Paul.

Here is one thing I am going to share about Florida, there are many more. A group of cars are stopped for a red light, say three lanes, the light turns green. Immediately the car in the left lane cuts across two lanes of traffic and turns right! This can happen the other way with the right hand lane car turning left.
Never did figure that out. It is very scary having this happen to you. You never know when it is going to happen. But, I can tell you that drivers here are pretty impatient.
Paul, I agree! For that reason I refuse to drive in Atlanta. If something involves going to the ATL I just look at the person and laugh. I could drive in Atlanta and I could get really upset about the inconsiderate people but I try to avoid all of that.
Well as you know I live in the Middle East and I can whole heartedly assure you that this is not a Stateside phenomena. I have to agree that in the past decade it has got worse. I don't have answers but having been behind a road rage attack on a freeway equivalent in UK where one guy stopped the other by driving in front of him into the edge of the road to stop him and then started fisticuffs in the middle of the road, and the effect it had on my blood pressure my resolve then and since is to ignore all these instances and simply not let them get to me anymore. Life is just too short as they say, but from personal experience I fully agree what I have done is not easy to do.
Regards
Hudson
That is aggravating. I find that people are driving like madmen these days. Where I live, they drive very fast. It's easy to go 80 miles an hour on the turnpike if you're not paying close attention. Even at that speed, you get these wise guys who come up so close, that if you had to slow down, they'd crash into you. Then they decide to pass you. In order to do that, they have to be going 90 to 100 mph. You always know when there's a cop around because the traffic slows down to 60 mph. Then there is the type who drives 50 mph on that same road. He stays on the right, and you think he must be getting off the exit or something. Sometimes he comes to an almost standstill. It's hard to get back on the left because the cars are whizzing by. Hence we have ROAD RAGE.
I agree! The people that go 10 mph under the speed limit or simply just stop in the middle of the road are simply the worst. At least the people going faster acts as a cop catcher. The slower traffic does nothing but raise my blood pressure, lol.
I'm from CA, and they do that all the time, but I always get mad at the ones who let them in, I never do. They also have the worst case of road rage of anywhere I've ever been. I turned into a gas station once, and this guy was speeding, and had to hit his breaks, I think he was racing another car, so he turns around, comes into the gas station, gets out of the car, and starts SCREAMING at me. I don't put it past anyone to pull a gun for any reason, so I just put gas in my car, and tried not to look at him, and let him rant and rave, until he finally stopped, got in his car, and left, probably because there were half a dozen people staring at him. I was scared to death he was going to punch me or shoot me.
Now I'm living in CO, and I swear, no one can drive here at all, you name it, they do it. Half the cars here have dents in them, and sometimes it feels like bumper cars, and I wonder if I'll get home in one piece, you have to be a REAL defensive driver to survive here. So, I guess all I can say is people are self centered, and I guess we have no choice but to try to deal with it, and just try to stay out of everyone's way.

Hi Paul. I can definitely relate to your posts, both about the handicapped parking and the crazy drivers. I refuse to let them get to me, though, and just go with the flow. They are welcome to their crazy driving, and I will simply let them be. I want driving to be a soothing, calming, enjoyable experience for me, and so I don't allow those crazy drivers to get to me. I may not always have a smooth and easy driving experience, but I don't allow them to ruffle my feathers. Go ahead, drive crazy, it won't bother me, or make me angry! I'm here for the experience.
This is a good post. Thanks.
