I'm doing a site that is a reference guide for books. The way I've set up the menus means that some of the pages have nothing but a list of titles that link to other pages. M
I do not see it as a problem, but you should add some text to the links so it gives a brief description of what each is about, then Google may not see it as anything other than just what it is.
Just an opinion, others may disagree. I have seen it done other ways as well, but I like the list with brief descriptions of what they are.

Add some points to your list. like whats the content about.meant for who.highlight some chapters for every title.
May like to indicate the books for entry intermediate or advance level.

By doing the above said Google will see you as a Valuable content provider for your Searchers.
I called it User Exoerience which is one of the important factors for you to rank well.
Check your competition on pg 1 Google. Cover their gaps.i beat mine like a pulp.

If I delete a page and re post it's contents as a post, will Google see that as copying text?

I have dating ads blocked in Adsense, but they're still showing on my site.
I know that Adsense shows material related to visitors search history, I blogged about it here at WA. Assuming you blocked it for other visitors, perhaps this does not include yourself, I am just guessing.
Yes I have noticed that. Not sure why that would bring up dating sites though as I've never searched for or visited one. But I thought that using the Block sensitive ads tab was supposed to stop those ads appearing anyway. Or have I got the wrong idea? Thanks for your answer.
I do not know, but you can be sure that what you see on your ads is not what somebody else sees, so do not worry regardless what you see there. Everybody sees different things on your ads.
