Who is a leader?
- The English dictionary defines a leader as any person that leads or directs
- One having authority to direct like President of a nation, governors etc.
- One who leads a political party or group of elected party members
- A person or organization that leads in a certain field in terms of excellence, success, etc.
We are all involved in leadership in one way or the other either in our homes or in any other places.
According to John Erksine A leader is someone who knows where he wants to go and stands and walks.
The following skills needed by a leader:
1) The ability to make important decisions at critical times.
2) Must also equip himself with the right information and
3) Must submit his or her decisions to God for total guidance.
Leadership is not carried out through mere words but through right attitudes and actions -
(Harold S.Geneen).
If you want to be a better leader, then you have to renew your ways of thinking.

We are all leaders one way or another. We lead our wishes and endeavors to a fruitful finish. There's great satisfaction in leading, but leaders must follow by example, they should not expect others to do what they are not willing to do themselves.
