Many, many moons ago, I fell foul of Getty Images licencing and got invoiced for 1,500 UK Sterling (approx 1,900 USD) for inadvertently using one of their photos on a website I built for a customer.
I was very careful never to make the same mistake again, so here are a bunch of image sites where you can legally source and use high quality images.
