I've put some Amazon links on there so far. I have signed up with a few other affiliate programs but I'm yet to add them into my site. I've just been concentrating on content and building up my following.

I've just started on Twitter and Facebook, so I'm trying to get a following there to promote the website. I've also got in contact with a few genealogy Facebook pages and promoted that way. So I've got a few likes from there.

Very good, there are other places you can use to promote your site also; Google +, LinkedIn, Pintrest, Utube, Tumblr, Stumble Upon, etc. You might want to look into getting accounts set up in as many as you can. Then I recommend adding the "AddToAny Share Buttons" widget to your site. It's what I have on my site that lets people post or share my blogs to any social media they want. It helps get you out there.

I am on Google +. Aren't we following each other on there? As for the others I'll hold back until I've completed the course. I do want to change the social media buttons on my posts, so I might take a look at that widget. Thank you.

I chose that theme when I first joined WA. I did try other themes but they didn't really suit what I needed. It's quite visual but also looks professional. That's the impression I like to give.
