I just verified my website with google a couple of days ago for which they had me add a meta tag in the head section of my site. Now, I'm trying to verify my website for ads an

Verifying with Google as explained in Certification Courses goes through Google Analytics, so no need to add the code for Google separately, but no harm.

You can add this second without removing the first.

I see you did not get answer for a long time, perhaps terminology was not the best. Do they really call it meta tag? I guess it is verification code or something similar. Meta tag is used for a few other things.

Yes, not getting an answer for long made had me pretty disappointed actually. I want to thank you for answering.

This is what really happened: Within the Google analytics account I saw a message saying 'your website has not been verified'. One of the steps to do this is by adding a verification code (they also call it meta tag) which apparently I could never place in the right place, it never worked.

Then I tried to get enrolled in the Booking.com affiliate program for which they also sent me a verification code (they also call it meta tag) and apparently I never put it in the right place because it never worked either.

That's why my question is how many meta tags, if any, I can put in the head section of the website? If that can't be done then I have no idea how to verify the ownership of my website in order to be part of affiliate programs.

OK, I see you have problem with it. I suggest you do with GA and Webmaster as suggested in Certification Courses.

This is in level 3, lesson 9. You have a tracking IDE which you put in All-in-One in one tab, much easier than dealing with codes. This is all shown in Kyle's video, so it must work. I did it 4 times in the past, never any problem with it.

When you have done GA part, go to level 5, lesson 2 to do Webmaster stuff, then in level 5 lesson 3 to submit Site Map.

As for Booking com, I did it myself, it was long ago and do not remember any step but I have no much skill with this and yet it was not complicated.

Do one step at a time, finish GA-Webmaster first, and then ask people again if necessary.

Thank you very much! Yeah, I know it's exciting when the website starts to get some shape and you just wanna go forward with it, especially because I have so many ideas but don't know how to execute them all as of yet :) So I think your suggestions are very appropriate. Thank you.

Hey Kyle! Hope you and your family are doing well. I've been trying to comment on other people's websites and for some reason I haven't been able to. Others in the community to
