I placed my AdSense code in a text widget on my sidebar about a week ago.
On the AdSense account page, there's a "done" sign next to "You've successfully created an ad unit", an
OK so it does not seem like Google understood or recognized I added the AdSense code.
what should I do?
I used the widget way to implement the code. Should I use directly the editor instead?

I would try the editor route just in case the widget just doesn't want to work properly with your theme :)
I found an official plugin by Google that makes the whole process a lot simpler. I hope it works.
If it won't, I'll try the editor way.

If it does work, would you mind linking the addon to me or telling me the name so that if I choose to use adsense I can use the plugin as well?

Sure it's called Google Publisher Beta.
I don't know if it works yet I assume it is, it connects you with your Google account and within that your AdSense account, and let you graphically choose where to place the ads on your site.
Much better to me then the blind way of the plain code.
I think usually you would wait to receive the first email from Adsense to get approved before you place the Ad code.
After the first email giving you approval, then you would place the code.
This might help - there's a link there that goes to an explanation of how to place the code once you have the initial approval.

Look's like they are going to look at your website first before they approve it. You can login in to Adsense and send them a Google feedback to see what they say.
Yea I know they are looking into it, just thought maybe I haven't done it correctly since there's is no mark next to the "Place you ad.." like it's not done yet.
It shouldn't take more than a day or so. Perhaps you should contact customer support if it's been a week-just to be sure.

The easiest way to do it and the way i do it is by installing a plugin called Jetpack by wordpress itself. Inside the plugin you will have many widgets to play with one of them is called Publisize.
click that and go to setting where you can link your wordpress website with social sites (about six top social sites).

Can't connect to the social networks, get an "Error code: -10520".
I need a different solution =\
I have only used it yesterday it is working fine with me. When is ask you to connect with the certain social sites what link are you putting there,
Can you send me that link?
The other way is by coding.

There is nothing wrong with the theme sometime old theme will not support certain plugins.
Maybe the plugins installation has got some problems
Deactivate and install again
I have probably installed every plugin there is for this subject not one is robust enough to do the job except for Jetpack. On the top it has got good review and support system
Already tried deactivating and reactivating, didn't help.
Maybe uninstalling it completely. I'll check that.

I supposed you mean you don't have "make this page/post sticky" option in your Theme; Does your Theme support Front page to display either "my recent posts" or "a static page"? i.e. Appearance > Customize
Yea that's what I meant.
And yes my theme supports it, but I'm using my recent posts right now and I don't wanna switch to a static page if that's what you meant.
