I like helping people. I'm a pharmacist. It gets harder and harder to make time to assist people with over-the-counter (OTC) purchases. The variety of products can be intimidating to people who already don't feel well. I know some of my best work has been helping people with OTC selection. Empowering others to help themselves feels right to me. The way WA has created a huge "family" of people to share ideas, experiences, and encouragement is brilliant and much appreciated. It helps us to help ourselves. I think this is a better use of my education than crazy 12-hr days that now incorporate actual drug-pushing in a retail setting. Besides, mail-order pharmacy and automation are growing. And I'm ready for a bit of career change. Working from home suits me well.
