I'm a pharmacist. I like helping people. It's what I do..... or used to. Nowadays, the crazy pace and long hours leave no room for helping people. It's now my job to convince you you need just about anything and everything pharmaceutically available, even prescribing some of it to you on the spot. There are actual quotas to be met daily in this area. It makes me physically sick. I want to go back to informing people and helping them help themselves, decreasing their reliance on an expensive industry that (at the top) does NOT have your best interests in mind. Sadly, for the drug companies, medical-equipment manufacturers, and quasi-government entities that set national healthcare policy for you and me, it really is all about the money. It is NOT about your family's or your community's health. I also need to watch carefully what I say here, and edit/edit/delete/edit. More edit/delete.... aaargh!
This platform is a blessing, and has opened doors and ideas to motivate me to reach for what I believe in. An added bonus is the many friendly and positive members here, like "family". I look forward to creating here, sharing ideas, and making lasting friendships. Good luck to all of us!
