My Experience So Far
December 2016, I decided to go online in order to find out ways of making extra cash online in order to support myself in the university. Unfortunately, my dream of having an online business was rent apart as I fell victim of many scammers.
I was naive and had no idea of what online business is: I jump into it then without minding the risk of trusting someone I have never seen or known before. I always believed the 'jumbo money' claimed by those scammers.
I was scammed by many of them. Then I learned my lessons. I become doubtful of all online businesses. The few I trust are just waste of time!
On the long run, I discovered the plain truth — building your own business empire is the surest way to become successful online. This became known to me at final quarter of 2017. One of those ways, which I later unraveled, was affiliate maketing.
I did many researches about affiliate marketing. I gathered enough knowledge about it but I lacked one thing: web building and designing skills. In fact, it seemed impossible. This snuffed my desire to pursue my affiliate marketing goal and the goal I set up to own a website before my 21st birth.
I wanted to host my domain with different hosting companies but was discouraged by the fact that I don't know what niche to go for, how to design a website or make my site appealing to search engines and target audience. I dreaded online traffic — how the hell do I get traffic to my website?
My interest in online world began to dwindle. I started to lose my patience, not until I bumped into a review about Wealthy Affiliate like an atomic bomb that lost its trajectory. I was filled with disbelief. I took it as one of those scams at first. I wasn't serious about it and therefore, didn't sign up with the community.
I found out about Wealthy Affiliate around October 2017. I saw many reviews about it. However, it never occurred to me to go through the site then. I decided to check out the website. One captivating thing I saw on their website was the step-by-step stages to building a successful business online. In fact, the way the steps were organized made me sign up with them on January 2018.
I thought the problem was solved until I logged in to discover a large community of people with a lot of activities. I was newbie there. I didn't know where to start from (It is very necessary to guide new members through the community. They don't know where to start. Your advice could save them a lot). I quit the community for some weeks.
To cap it all, I became an active member on February 2018. I began with the get started lessons. I was happy as I watched myself become expert in 'web world'. My most exciting moment was when I built my first website. It was a dream that came into reality but still leaves you behind in the trance. I just achieved my goal of owning a website before my 21st birthday.
Niche choices became something very easy. I have several websites now. Thanks to Kyle and Carson and the whole community who were always there for me and to help me out.
I'm still on the lessons. I haven't earned yet but I feel sated.

So sorry those scammers found you before you found Wealthy Affiliate. At least you're here now and safe!
Congrats on all you've earned and all the sites you've started. If I can make a suggestion, focus on one until it becomes profitable before working on the others. You don't want to duplicate mistakes across all of them then have to spend all the time to go back and correct them.
