Graduation Worries, Who Will Actually Use What They Learned?
I was sitting during my niece's graduation thinking, "Out of these 1500 graduates, how many will actually use what they learned in this traditional school to work the field they choose?"
I ask, because many, many years ago, I was in their position and never realized I would end up going back to get an AA and actually get a better job than the job I got after using my BS! It was totally discouraging that I don't really push my kids to get a college degree ifbtjey an get an education through a technical school that would land them a better paying job!

It's hard being a college graduate and realizing you don't really know what it is you want to do for a career or realizing you like something else after you get your degree. I think all education is helpful and even if you don't apply your degree, there were things that were learned while obtaining that degree that you will use for the rest of your life :)
