WA! It's Your Business!
WA is your business!
It just occurred to me that the many negative comments and forum posts that are being posted about the new WA platform, may actually hinder and not help our progress here at WA.
While I understand that we all have preferences, WA is still the best place to learn online marketing and as online marketers we should promote WA and it's unique benefits. The training material is still all here. Yes, WA looks different, but, different does not equal deficient.
Here's the scenario, we may be working to promote the benefits of WA, we may have a potential student that clicks to our landing page all because you laid it out just like you learned at WA. The potential student likes what they see, they want more, so they sign up for a trial period to take a closer look, and bam! they are greeted with negative comments. Remember, these potential marketers are analyzing it all, trying to make an educated decision about whether or not to join WA. All it takes is one misplaced negative comment to discourage someone, and send them away from WA. for good. Now , that affects us all!
Unfortunately, even negative comments have a permanent home in the forums, etc, I would recommend sending a PM to Kyle or Carson to discuss any issues that you are having with the the new format.
Better yet, before posting, tour the new site and find out what's really available. WA is incredible! There is no shortage of information here. The point is, Wealthy Affiliate University still has the best training available.
If we are not being fully aware, remembering this WAU is also "OUR BUSINESS," we may actually send away, those, we are working so hard to attract. We must post responsibly with our business in mind.

Hi,
I am very new to WA and totally agree with your blog....
Upon entering yesterday I came across many forum posts which have sadly been posted by disgruntled and confused members :0(
For a while I chose to feel very sceptical of the WA site and untrusting of the processes and nearly actually cancelled my membership....
However after turning off my PC feeling very sad I thought I would think about it as I did not wish to allow others perceptions to put me off. This morning I have stopped looking at the forum (for the moment) and started looking at the different tools and research pages as I wished to make up my own mind!
It is fab, I believe it will also become even better as time goes on.... My advice to older members who have found the changes dificult & frustrating would be to start a new day on a blank new page and pretend this is the first time approaching the WA system... who knows maybe some new learnings and ideas could be had if the change is approached with a sense of curiosity!
