The lesson in Driving to Work

I'm not ashamed to admit it (yes I go to a Job, as i'm sure a vast majority do here). I was on my way to work and there was this Mini Van that was moving at a fast pace, clearly over the speed limit. I didn't think much of it as I was in a rush myself and didn't want to be late to work. Anyways, So i started passing the mini-van...and all of a sudden it low-key became a race somewhere. Man...when I tell you i had no idea a Mini-Van could go that fast, I was genuinely impressed on how great he was maneuvering that vehicle.

He ended up beating me as he turned off somewhere else, but he was ahead of me. Noted, I had my Eco button on and for those who don't know, it puts pressure on your Gas pedal, making it less likely for you to burn your gas like that. But even with it all, I'm sure the result would of been the same.

Now what can be taken away from all this?

The fact that he worked with what he got and beat out someone who clearly should of won. Too often we are so focused on what we don't have, instead of making it work. If you work with what you got, you can most times produce better than the next person who has better quality equipment then you. As a wise man once told me: "Hard work will always Beat out Talent".

So when you are working on your websites and what not, don't worry about how nice and fancy the next person has...just make sure your content is relatable and overall of quality :)
