Getting through the training at WA

I started blogging about our garden about 2 months ago, after we transformed our boring garden into our little piece of paradise. I wanted to inspire people to do the same. When I started my blog I had a clear vision in mind: I wanted blogging to become my main income. I have never been so determined about anything before, so I think I must have found my true vocation :)

I googled everything there was to google about blogging. I subscribed to every Youtube channel that explained how to start blogging. I joined every blogger facebook group I could find. My email inbox was filling up with hundreds of emails about blogging, and there weren't enough hours in the day to read them all. I was hungry to learn as much as I could in the shortest time possible.

People were making amazing claims about how they made thousands of dollars while sleeping and I drooled over pictures of people writing a blog while sitting on a beach drinking mojitos. Tiime for a reality check I thought.

The more I researched the more I found that some people were making extraordinary amounts of money but there was also a more realistic group of people, who worked hard and reaped their rewards in time. I was drawn to this group because it seemed credible and possible. The millionaire bloggers didn't sound real. But they sold the dream and I guess you have to reach high to achieve as much as possible.

I subscribed to courses, read hundreds of emails promising the dream lifestyle, watched sooo many videos... and even though I learned a lot, I was lacking direction and there was nobody to tell me whether what I was doing was right.

Then I stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate. I don't even know how, it must have been a link in one of those hundreds of emails but luckily I found it. I started the training and straight away my eagerness to learn became more structured, I had a routine!

Wealthy Affiliates made me feel that my goals weren't at all unrealistic. I now know that by working hard and working smart, I can achieve what I set out to achieve, and maybe even more!

I'm excited to be here and the support from the community has been amazing! I will keep you posted on how my project is developing, so far I have continued my gardening blog and I have created another blog about dog and cat care.

My aim is to continue both blogs steadily and in time I would love to create a website aimed at people like me, who want to make money online but who need guidance. I feel that I should aim my niche at women in particular. But that will come in time.

I have given myself a year before I expect to earn anything, and that's fine. I know that this is not a get rich quick scheme and that it involves hard work and determination.

Hopefully I will be able to update this in a year's time and let you know that I have achieved my goals. Wish me luck!
