Just Finished Course 2 and Enjoying This!

So I just finished course 2 and I am very proud of my progress. I have completed more in the past 5 weeks than I have in the past 5 months! The training here at WA is amazing, and the step-by-step instructions really help me to not become overwhelmed.

The niche that I have chosen is the computer security niche. After building my site it was brought to my attention by the community that they really wanted to learn more about this area of computers. Many people felt that they never learned about it because it was too confusing or just plain boring. So I have adjusted my business model to accommodate this.

That is why I have "drank the WA Kool Aid" so to speak. The program works, and one thing I remember Kyle saying was not to worry about coming up with content - your readers will tell you what they want.

Another thing that always stopped me dead in my tracks in the past was not seeing any progress with my sites. I could never find my site in Google before, and with Jaaxy that is a breeze! I just type in my website and the "low hanging fruit" keyword I chose and voila! Imagine my surprise last night when my site was ranked at 118 out of 16,000,000! That may not sound like a good ranking (and it isn't), but this is my first real site and that impresses me.

As Kyle has also said, content is king. Quality content at that. This morning I wanted to check and see if I had gone up in the rankings - I went down! I had dropped to 228 overnight! There are several reasons for this. I only have 2 posts and my site is rather new. I have adjusted my plan now to make 2 quality posts per week using low hanging fruit keywords. This in addition to now having Google authorship should fix that problem.

My original goals are still the same as when I started, but I have adjusted my near short term goals a bit.

1. To get at least 100 unique visitors per month for the next three months
2. To make at least 5 sales per month for the next three months
3. To write 2 articles per week with quality content using low hanging fruit keywords for the next 3 months
4. To stick to the WA program and to NOT GIVE UP!

At first I was skeptical with the WA idea. It sounded like a pyramid scheme. After getting through half of the program and seeing results, I can confidently say that I am on the path to success. Once my current site is profitable, I will create another and then another after that. The "work" is rather easy, and it is fun as well. I get to work from my house or the beach. The dream is there and it is within reach. Thanks for all of the feedback and good luck to everyone.
