What a Month it's been

Well, I just thouht i'd get back to Wealthy Affiliate with a quick blog post after a crazy month for the technology.

Unfortunatey I cracked my old laptop screen a couple of months ago which has gradually grown and progressed into something which resembled a big trees of cloud of smoke accross the screeen of my laptop. So my work was getting harder and harder and more frustrating to tryband get on with as i was having to keep dragging the window around the screen so that the blur wasnt in the way.

Then about a week and a half ago, the mousepad stopped working and the USB mouse i had started becomin ridiculously tempramental. So, I figureedd it time i got my Desktop back out of Storage and get a working computer aain. So I did, and it blew the trmsformer as soon as i plugged it in. Oh What? Gutted! I was so lookin forward to getting that rigged up again as its got programs and files on the hard drive i havent used for ages since i moved out of my old place 3 years ago and put it into storage in my mothers loft. I was also looking forward to the decent set up of the desktop and conventional keyboard that lets you sit comfortably and use it, instead of tiny laptops or tablets.

Plan B

Well, I though. All is not ost. I had another desktop in storage too. A Dell. Now this was a computer an old friend of mine asked to leave in storage in my Lockup a few years ago and unfortunately died a few months later. So it has still been sat there. So, I decided i'd try giving it a boot up and see if it was up to much. I knew my mate was into souping up computers so i expected it to be a pretty fast computer for its time but aged so all in all, still a decent working omputer.

Anyways, I rg it up and boot it up and it takes me to a boot up error screen telling me its having problems,error something or another. No problem!" thinks I. I'll just do a factory reset. S, i hit the reset button and up cmes the start up screen Onl, nne of the F Keys are working. Bop! Back to the error screen. Grrrr

Anyway, turns out its an error booting from the Floppy Disk drive. Floppy Disk? Ffs! How old is this thing? Then it wants a password. So i tries a few generics like 0000000 and 12345678 and so on. Nothing. Gettin frustrated now. Just give me a damn computer that works! Gutted !Two computers that were useless.

Meanwhile

Over this time, I had a friend stayin over who had recently moved up from England to get housed in Scotland to be nearer to his kids as theyve recently moved here with their mother. So, ive been putting him up over the past few weeks on my couch.

Wel, it just so happened that he hhad been gifted a laptop that he didnt want as a birthday present and offered to ive it to me. Well, i couldnt just take it but said i was up for borrowingg it or else get a new flat or else id buy it an pay it in installments. So, we agreed on the latter.

So, I now have an ultrafast Dell Notebook on Windows 11. Quality!

So, now its a case of a busy couple of weeks getting caught up with m website and get a fw scheduled posts up to scratch!
