Work sucks! I wish.
Work sucks... I'm talking that normal 8-5 job that requires you to wake up earlier than you want to, travel some distance, and go do work for somebody else's dream/desire.
Work is seriously the only thing holding me back from doing what I want to do.
What I want to do is just play video games. Sounds crazy, I know. But I would stream the games on Twitch and/or make videos for YouTube. I know a lot of people make money, thousands and even millions of dollars, each year just for playing video games. I could easily do what they are doing.
When I was young, I would play video games all day. (When I wasn't in school of course.) My parents would ask me what I wanted to do for a living, sometimes I'd answer that I wanted to play video games. They always responded with, "you can't make money doing that, you have to find a real job." Well, I have a real job and it sucks. I see people on YouTube and Twitch with thousands and millions of viewers. These channels earn so much money its ridiculous!
Why can't I do that?
What am I doing wrong?
What do I need to do to catch up to them?
The only thing I know I need to do is broadcast more and upload videos on YouTube more often. But that's where I circle back to work taking up all of my time!
When I broadcast on Twitch, my link goes to my followers, Twitter and Facebook. I post my YouTube videos on my website and share on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+
On each of the social networks I have well over 100 followers/friends. Yet, my Twitch stream maybe gets 4 viewers, and my YouTube videos get less than 20. Obviously not all of my followers are watching.
Any support would be appreciated, I'm feeling a bit down. My efforts almost feel wasted, though I know I won't be giving up! Even moral support would be nice =)

I have a similar goal too! Once I get up and running with my website, I want to make videos of me playing video games. I just started learning how to play LoL and Dota. I think there is a HUGE market for female video gamers that is not being addressed hence why I want to close the gap.
I just needed to let it all out. I plan to pick myself up starting today after I get off work!

I think You are very young. I know some kids, they use to play video games. They build they own computer to play video games. They start selling the computers they build, they make a company, and after some years they sold the computer gaming company for $100'000,000. Go ahead my friend. I am 71 years old, and I like computer games: I like BF4, Call of Duty, etc, etc, etc.
