Independent Music Artists.

I have been on the look out for independent Artist of any genre. I'm sure we'll get to share some similarities in the music business. Hopefully I can find some here at WA. I see a lot of not very well known artists on all the social media platforms and all they seem to do is post to buy their stuff. Like really? For what reason though? Any way, to me that just seems like spamming and automated tweets and post just to keep their fan page moving up the network feeds. I'm trying to take a new perspective on the "How to" type of thing and of course, engage with new fans and like minded artist in the independent music world. I almost tried to do the "Go Fund Me" thing but at the moment I don't even have more than 4k followers across all social media platforms. Maybe I would try that if I get a little more followers.
So, are there any independent music artists here on WA trying to make a difference and hoping to make it to the top with the help of WA? I'm working on it to see if it does make a difference to the way the music industry is set out. It's a very tough and lucrative and over crowded business, but I'm sure there are some things that an independent artist hasn't tried yet.
And here we are. :-)

My son Sid is an independent conscious rap artist. He joined this community as a free member but never really went anywhere with it so far. I am helping him with the business aspect of things...I definitely might have some suggestions for you. I have also conducted a variety of successful Go Fund Me campaigns and am in the process of familiarizing myself with Patreon.

Hey how are you doing I like your post, I'm an artist too although you may say I'm suffering an identity crisis since I keep trying to do everything and not specialising in anything. I do music too but I'm not very active in social media with it, for that I use more my visual arts stuff. However I do make all of money this days by busking (playing on the streets)
Have you had any success integrating what WA teaches with your art, I am very eager to find someone that's been doing this successfully.
