I am about to quit WA. I have been struggling with this decision and it is a very hard one to make. I have another site hosted by HostGator so I want to move one of my sites fr

Best of luck to you Norma, I know it can get very frustrating at times.

If you want to move your website to HostGator, just open your HG account and locate the name servers.

You can then 'grab' your website from WA to HostGator. They will explain it all to you.

You can keep your domain name registered through Site Domains. Even free members can buy domain names here.

Make sure you back up your website before you leave WA. If you need a professional website back up and restore service please send me a private message.

Thank you so much, Marion. You are one of the reasons why leaving WA is a very difficult decision to make. I have learned so much from your training.

Marion is the best.

Or... did you buy your domain name via WA? It is still yours and you can keep it as long as you pay for it (same like with Hostgator, Namecheap, etc.)

Thank you so much for the reply. It helps a lot... yes, I did buy my domain name here at WA...

Your domain name is yours to keep. The website (the content) is lost, if you don't take it with you, though. So if you have a website, just learn how to move it over to other hosting service.

Hope it helps :)

God bless you,

Egon

How can I keep my domain name if I quit WA? Not sure yet but thinking about switch to Groove page but I don't want to lose my domain names I create with WA... Thanks in advance :)

There are various problems which can occur when editing certain things within a WP Theme! If the images become un-clickable it might be the problem with the WP Theme you are using. I would suggest contacting the Theme developer and ask about the problem.

Otherways, go through the inserting process again. Sometimes, the problem is fixed just by re-opening the page. You can also try to edit the image within the text editor.

Best regards!

I always put an image at the top of the page on a post, but lately it won't let me move the position of the image or edit it's size. I click on the image, and it suddenly shoots me to the bottom of the page. Any solutions?

Hey Jim,

Perhaps using the featured image option you might find it easier: I clicked on your tiny images at the top of your latest posts, and my browser did not go anywhere. May you need to delete your browser cache. If so, you can Google search for the instructions for the browser you are using.

Hope this helps you.

All's well that ends well!

I also have this problem. I've posted a question and got no solution.

Try to update to the newest version of Wordpress - 4.7.4.

Thanks.

It could be the theme or (more likely) a plugin that's causing the issue. Deactivate ALL your plugins and see if that fixes the problem. If it does then activate the plugins one at a time checking as you go to see which one (or combination of plugins) is the problem.

Thanks for the reply, Marion. I did your suggestion but it did not solve the problem. Out of desperation I updated my sites to Wordpress 4.7.4 and Boom! - Problem solved! I could edit my images easily just like before.

I have been looking at the blog posts of many bloggers and I wonder why they use huge images above their posts (centered) while the training here recommends images within the f

Sometimes it is personal preference and sometimes it is theme related. Personally I do not start with an image because I want Google to be able to index my content immediately.

I will keep your personal preference in mind. I know that most of your posts get high ranking. Thanks for the reply.

Looks like a desire to gain maximum attention!

That could be true because these are the images they use at Pinterest.

Hey Norma,

Am guessing your referring to a theme layout, such as the new Sydney theme http://demo.athemes.com/sydney/

My guess would be because the theme looks pretty awesome. However, I have chosen a theme that is fully optimized and loads fast as apposed to the Sydney ... but I must admit ... I DO like the Sydney ... don't you?

Sydney these looks great. Thanks for the demo link.

I am guilty of this and it does not appear to have impacted bounce rate or reader experience. I am thinking about doing the 'right' thing in all future posts, however.

Mickeyb

Once in a while I may want to center my images but I will keep them on the right most of the time. Thanks for the reply.

I'm also wondering about this.

Thanks. And I thought I am the only one...

I want to build an email list. Is it OK to use other people's free report (they allow it) as a giveaway? Does it help me build my email list or am I promoting their sites inste

What types of live links are in the report?
If there are any, can you change them to yours?
Is this report published on the 'net anywhere? If it is that could bother someone getting it, if they have seen it before or if they check it with http://copyscape.com

Otherwise, the short answer is: sure as long as you have the giveaway rights.

Mickeyb

Thanks Mickey,

As always, you're such a big help... it does have giveaway rights as long as I don't change anything in it, and there are promotional links in the report, such as a coaching program...

Come to think of it... it is perhaps better to write my own report...

That was what I was trying to get you to think about....

Mickeyb

NOW.... (I did not say this, but take a look at one of the pages on my website: http://getridofboss.com/plr-items-good-for-you)

I just came from a discussion on bought traffic and I am wondering what WA thinks about it and traffic exchanges. Will it help or hurt site ranking?

If you care about your website rankings in Google, and you should, you need to stay away from bought traffic. Google wants to see traffic from real sources, meaning real people who genuinely click on your website. They will not rank you for bought traffic and you will not make any sales either.

Just as I thought... thank you, Robert...

You are welcome.

MOST 'bought traffic really isn't. (I mean, yeah, you pay for it, but you rarely get what you pay for. IF you do actually get what you were expecting, what you will not expect is that it is not coming from anywhere that is helpful It usually comes from folks who are getting paid to click on your link. This is NOT targeted traffic and that is what you absolutely NEED.

Traffic exchanges are good for only one thing. That is to get your raw clicks up. The timers are set to such a short period of time, the users there do not spend it doing much reading of our site; They are looking at the timer so they know when they can click out of it.

Thank you Mickey... this clears it up for me...
