The 1 Cent per click Facebook Ad “Trick”?
You are probably wondering if it is possible to get Facebook ad traffic at only 1 cent per click.
In this blog post, I will be sharing a simple “trick” to get Facebook traffic at 1 cent per click. In fact, if your cost per click comes up to anything above $0.10, it may be a sign that you are going about your Facebook ad campaign the wrong way.
Before I go on, a quick disclaimer. This is not some quick get rich or tons of magic push button traffic technique. Neither do I promise you will get the exact result that I have gotten with my facebook ad campaigns.

My purpose is to highlight some features of Facebook Ads that can hopefully save you some money, time and frustration.
With that said let’s get started
Target the Right Audience for your Facebook Ads
Not exactly rocket science, but the problem was the execution.
Before custom audience, there wasn’t an effective way to have your Facebook Ads appear in front of your targeted audience. You could only target your ad appearance base on country, demographics, categories or precise interest. (The facebook precise interest algorithm is crap.)
You will still end of having to target a large number of audiences which also explains why facebooks Ads WAS so expensive. Moreover, such targeting categories will not effectively give you the right audience for your Facebook Ad.
The ability to create your own custom audience now allows us to put theory into practice. You can now create your own compilation of audience and have your facebook ads to appear specifically for them only.
For example, say you have compiled a list of 2000 facebook profiles that would be interested in your niche. You can create a custom audience out of this 2000 facebook profiles, and have your ad to reach only these 2000 facebook profiles.
How to create Custom Audience
Note: Make sure to use Google Chrome Browser for the steps here!
Every Facebook profile has a UID number. To get the UID number, go to http://graph.facebook.com/enter_profile_name_here
Profile name would be whatever that appears at the end of the facebook URL profile.https://www.facebook.com/profilename
See that long series of number? That is the Facebook UID number.
Rinse, repeat and save a bunch of UID. Make sure you save it in either .csv or .txt format.
Go to your Facebook Ads Manger.

(You will be prompted to install Power Editor)
Select Power Editor ---->Audiences----> Create Audience ---->Custom Audience
Remember that list of Facebook UIDs that you saved? You can now upload the list here.
It will usually take about a couple of minutes for facebook to process the list. Once it is ready, your custom audience list will be available for targeting when you create your Facebook ads.
Some ideas for compiling Facebook UIDs for Custom Audience Creation
This is the research phrase; You basically need to compile a list of facebook profiles that will be interested in whatever niche you are in. Some good place to start would be Facebook graph search, Facebook pages, Facebook events, Facebook groups.
Do note that the method mentioned above is a manual (tedious) way of extracting Facebook UIDs. There are many software out there that can help you extract and save Facebook UIDs automatically. I usually use Social Lead Freak for this, but there are occasions where you want to clean up your custom audience so you would need to know the manual way of doing it.
And that is it! The “trick” to one cent Facebook ad clicks. Actually, the real trick to all of this is paying attention. Whatever that was mention here is pretty much open to everyone. Seemingly open resources may seem like nothing much at first, but has the potential to be turned into something really valuable with a bit of creativity.
