Today! Is My Sixth Day! Crossing Over!
Today is my sixth day at WA.
So far so good. I am very excited though I am still learning. At first the information was so overwhelming. I did not know whether I am going or coming. But now there is a light in the tunnel. I have two websites in construction with the information up to lesson six . So far only one website with three posts. The other one nothing as a yet. I want to stick to one site so that whatever practice in it will use the same with the second one.What I have experience so far is to take one step at a time. Also to repeat the lesson also help a lot.

The main important books of account in record keeping.
As mentioned earlier, it is impossible to state exactly which books will be required. However, we will cover some of the more common Books of Accounts. The trick is to keep it simple. The most important ones we recommend you use are:
- The Cash Book
This is an accurate record of your bank account. It is an accurate record of receipts (money received) and payments (money paid out).
Important points to remember
- Write it up daily
- Daily monitor the bank balance and cash flow
- Reconcile it to your bank statement monthly
Recommended Format
It is recommended that you include the following categories.
Receipts (money received)
- Receipt number (if applicable)
- Date of receipt
- Details – payer and description
- Cash Sales
- Debtors (amount)
- Sundries
- Sundries Description
- VAT
- Total (amount)
Payments (money paid out)
- Cheque number
- Date payment
- Details – payee and description
- Cash Purchases
- Creditors
- Salaries
- Telephone
- Rent
- Other
- VAT
- Total (amount)
